What we do

From the border in to the reef and back

How we work

Distance is the whole business here

01

We hold cyclone berths we may not fill

From August we pay to hold swing moorings up the creek behind Cairns and two haul-out standby slots. In a quiet season we hand three back and swallow about thirty-eight thousand dollars, so that a boat caught out in February has somewhere to go.

02

We look at your hull before the inspector does

Our diver photographs the running gear at your last port, at our cost, and we read it honestly. Twice this year we have told a boat to clean in Nouméa and come in a week late, which is our arrival week gone with it.

03

The price is in Australian dollars and it holds for ninety days

Half this industry is here because the exchange rate suits, and the rate is the one thing nobody controls. When it moves against us mid-refit we wear it rather than reopen the quote.

04

Our people travel and we do not bill the seat

It is seventeen hundred kilometres from the yard to the reef. A project manager gets on the plane rather than handing the job to a contractor we have never watched work, and those three or four travel days a month are not on your invoice.

A yacht agent and a captain talking on a tropical wharf in north Queensland

“We came down from Vanuatu carrying more growth than we thought. Their diver had photographs to us in Port Vila and said plainly that we would fail the inspection. We cleaned there, cleared Cairns in a morning, and still made the Whitsundays for the first charter. Nobody enjoys making that call.”

About this page

Everything above is a demonstration

The business, the listings and the reviews are invented — this page exists to show what someone could put on australianyachtservices.com. The domain itself is genuinely for sale.

Domain for sale

australianyachtservices.com is available

You are looking at a demonstration, not a real business. We built it to show what this domain could carry — the company, the stock and the reviews are invented.

  1. 1

    Make an enquiry

Tell us who you are and what you would use it for. It costs nothing and puts you under no obligation.

  2. 2

    Agree a price

We reply with a price or consider your offer. Most conversations are settled within a couple of working days.

  3. 3

    Pay into escrow

Funds go to a licensed third-party escrow agent, never straight to us. They hold the money until the transfer is confirmed.

  4. 4

    Take ownership

We push the authorisation code to your registrar. You control the domain, usually within a week; escrow then releases the funds.

The demonstration site is not part of the sale by default — but if you want it, say so in your enquiry and we will include the source.
